Overheard today in a trendy Pacific Heights boutique, in a decidedly UNsarcastic tone:

Girl 1: "He was OK. I would say he has a, um...I think they call it "sarcastic"...sense of humor."
Girl 2: "Oh my God! No way! That's my favorite type of humor!"
Girl 1: "Really?"
Girl 2: "I swear. Sarcastic. That's totally the best type of humor."

I had to bite my tongue, because I think we'd find out that sarcastic is not her favorite type of humor after all.
