I think I'll begin a new item in my blog called "ASK THIS". This is to help you struggling major media representatives who seem to have blanked out on what to ask when faced with the big bad wolf. It may help to write this down, so you don't forget with the shiny lights in your eyes and all.

Here's the question for April, White House Press Corps, journalists, hosts of shows involving pundits spouting the latest party line. Please, please, do your jobs and ASK THIS before we get into another war with a country which has done nothing to us:

Why is the administration threatening to bomb Iran for their nuclear program which has been operated peacefully since the 70's (with the help of the U.S.), when Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, yet Bush has lifted nuclear restrictions on India, which has not signed the treaty and has ongoing tensions with Pakistan (which means it is a greater threat in terms of using a nuclear weapon)?

If the official platform of this administration is to go after WMD, why are they encouraging nuclear development in a country which has refused to sign a treaty saying they won't use them, yet is threatening a country which has signed the treaty promising they will not develop nuclear weapons and has never threatened using one?

What the heck is going on here? What kind of hypocrisy is being shoveled down the American people's throats, and why are you people in the media not screaming it from the rooftops? Most Americans are not even aware of this glaring hypocrisy in the facts. We are on the verge of more killing in the name of this administration, and you keep your mouths shut? Please, I beg of you, media outlets, informants of the American public, inform us and call pundits on their lies. Do a little research. Re-establish some value in your profession so we don't have to turn to Jon Stewart to get the facts. Please.

ASK THIS.
