Sonofabitch. By some fluke, the Bush administration seems to have hired someone both intelligent and affable to replace Scott McClellan as press secretary. I watched Tony Snow's first press conference this morning, hoping he'd be as abrasive, evasive, and idiotic as McClellan was. Worse, it turns out. He churns out the old bullshit party line, but does so in a way that will make those who cannot read between any lines (which is much of this undereducated nation) want to swallow anything he is dishing up. Gulp.
