Al-Zarq-hooey

Alright, CNNtertainment, it's another installment of "Ask This", where
I selflessly help you navigate the tricky rules of good journalism.
There there, I know, it's so hard being blinded by the lights of the
White House pressroom. That's why I am here to help. First of all, we
need to stop yapping about Al-Zarqawi being killed and how fantastic
that is, prompting go-with-the-flow jellyfish in this country to bump
your
polls
on the success of the war in Iraq. Instead, here's a poll for you which
will more accurately reflect how well the war is going: How about you
ask insurgents in Iraq whether or not Al-Zarqawi's death has made them
less likely to recruit others and attack, or
more likely to
recruit others and attack? How about you ask whether or not Al-Zarqawi
will be replaced by someone just like him, and if he's killed, whether
or not there's already someone lined up to replace him and so on and so
forth? How about you then ask yourself how effective our tactic is over
there? How about you
then ask yourself how well the Iraq war is going? ASK THIS. Oh yes, and since I know you might have missed this rule, then you
report your results to
us, your
audience, even if the big bad wolf in the big white house doesn't like it. See now? How hard was that?
